When we first considered expanding our business into New Zealand, we had no idea how local business customs worked. We came to Auckland just to explore, unsure of what steps to take. While discussing things with my team at a café, a staff member overheard us and kindly suggested, “If you’re thinking about starting a business here, you should talk to NZ Daisuki.”
So, on a whim, we walked straight into their office—without an appointment. Even though it was a completely unannounced visit, we explained our situation to the receptionist, and to our surprise, the CEO came out right away to speak with us.
Amazingly, within an hour, he had already grasped the core of our business idea and began offering valuable suggestions. It felt like a brainstorming session with one of our own team members. That encounter marked the beginning of our journey. From establishing the company, securing an office, importing heavy equipment, designing our workspace and logo, to hiring staff—they supported us through every step. Thanks to them, we were able to launch our new business smoothly in no time.
Even after launch, they stayed deeply involved in our operations, consistently providing timely and effective advice.
Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, we had to withdraw from the market. However, for several years, the business ran smoothly, and we owe that success to the CEO of NZ Daisuki. I genuinely feel I could never thank him enough.
This is not just lip service—I mean it from the bottom of my heart. If I ever plan to start another business in New Zealand, I will absolutely reach out again.
