Description
The Japanese tea ceremony is more than simply preparing tea. It is a cultural practice that values care, calmness and hospitality through the thoughtful preparation and sharing of matcha.
During this guided, hands-on session, you will learn how to prepare and whisk your own bowl of matcha using traditional tea ceremony equipment. You will then enjoy your freshly prepared tea together with a Japanese sweet.
No previous experience is required.
The session will take place in a dedicated area on the venue stage, providing participants with their own space away from general foot traffic.
What is included
Matcha, a Japanese sweet and everything required for the experience are included. All tea ceremony equipment will be provided for use during the session. The matcha and sweet will be enjoyed at the venue, and all reusable equipment must remain after the session.
Admission to With Love, JAPAN is free. This is a separately ticketed session, and advance booking is required.
